Two of my favorite artists are performing at SOB's the last week in September. I think I might go to both since VH1 slighted me on the Sadiq tix way back in August. (I'm still a little salty about that) Teedra Moses's The Young Lioness was set to drop sometime this year, but until then we shall enjoy her in concert.

Saadiq is much overlooked as an artist. well main stream wise. Instant Vintage was a tru classic and really showcased his skills as a song writer, singer and guitarist. One thing I admire about Saadiq is his ability to write on any topic and make it sound as smooth as anything you can hear at any time frame. Come on now, who makes skits about head, and smoking herb but makes it sounds like a catchy jingle without making it to ghetto...Saadiq. I missed him in DC at the Stone Soul picnic, but Saadiq and Maxwell are def next on my list to see live. (I wish he did more East Coast tours :/
